With 25 years of accounting experience—15 of those in general contracting—Alex has been instrumental in shaping and refining D|Watts’ construction accounting operations. He established the company’s accounting structure, implemented CMiC, and developed financial protocols tailored to the complexities of construction, ensuring seamless integration between project management and accounting functions.

Alex oversees all aspects of project accounting, including job cost tracking, subcontractor payments, billing, contract compliance, and financial reporting. His expertise in cash flow management, budget reconciliation, and forecasting ensures projects remain financially on track.

Beyond project accounting, Alex manages corporate financials, overseeing internal controls, risk management, and financial audits to maintain compliance and operational efficiency. He works closely with operations teams to enhance financial transparency, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.

With a deep understanding of construction accounting and a commitment to efficiency and long-term financial stability, Alex continues to strengthen D|Watts’ financial foundation—supporting both successful project execution and the company’s growth.
