D|Watts collaborated with the Akima executive team and OTJ Architects to bring this dynamic three-story project to life. The design blends sharp, modern finishes with warm, inviting details, evident in the striking elevator lobbies featuring back-painted glass, stainless steel trim, and ornamental native canoes that pay homage to Akima’s Alaskan heritage. The main lobby showcases rich wood wall paneling, elegant faux marble accents, and a one-of-a-kind live edge reception desk, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere.
