INTERNSHIP

D|Watts Construction is a premier commercial general contractor specializing in high-end corporate office spaces. Currently generating $100 million in annual revenue, we are embarking on an ambitious growth journey to expand into multiple locations and scale to $500 million in revenue. What we are looking for:

  • Current student pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture

  • Previous industry internships or work experience a plus

  • Ability to work 40 hours a week

What you will do:

  • Support project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting

  • Support construction projects/procedures, review proposals/specifications, drawings, execute material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and attend meetings and walk-throughs

  • Collaborate with site operations on project layout, construction drawing and trade coordination, verification of site conditions, safety and quality control

Future planning:

  • Internship period will be used as an opportunity for the candidate to familiarize themselves with the different facets of construction while gaining invaluable office and field experience at a WBJ Top 75 Fastest Growing Company

  • It is the intent that at the end of the internship period that each successful candidate would be offered an opportunity to continue their career at D|Watts
